Finding friends for lonely muscovie!

I brought home three females into my flock of Muscovys and it went fine I’d have at least 2 to add to you lone Muscovy. That way if anything did happen to one there would still be two so no more line duck again. It will take a few days to a week till they get use to each other but they will. Are you planning on a drake and and a duck or two females asking because if your considering a drake I’d get two female so you’d have 3 females to a drake.

I just dont want the 2 to rebel agaisnt mine and not include her lol it sounds stupid i know. I am planing on getting only females because my ducks live with the chickens and i have one roo.

I recently just got some new friends for my lonely muscovy hen. It was way easier introducing the new birds then I thiught it would be. They stared at each other through mesh half the day and they were just so ready to be together. Once we let them out to be with her it was like she was always apart of their gang. (They had been quarantined at their last home as we knew we wanted to introduce them sooner then later) we had a sin bin set up but we never had to use it. This is them all dancing together the next day

Thatz so nice! i m anxious to get mine and see how the meet goes! unfortunatly i wont be able to put a separation in my coop so ill introduce them outside a little bit each day then with the chickens! Its nice to see that drakes get along that well, i beleive you have at least 3 drakes in that photo

Only one drake. My very large hen and the other girls just have very masculine faces. Look forward to hearing how you go with introductions
