First Emu Egg- Need Help!

I've heard of people replacing the eggs with nerf footballs so they still think the eggs are there..............

I have to think of something.. We piled some dry leaves around the area, hopping they will start using them.

It looks just like a pigeon nest does! They never use any padding and just pile on the sticks on rock ledges in the wild, so I should think those tough emu eggs can handle it.
