Wow, I hatched out 11/11 a couple days ago...

and 7/8 on the 9th..

Both groups had one NN, 10 days apart...

They are 7 weeks old this week. I tried to introduce then to outdoor today while I swept and emptied their bin but they all told me hell no and ran back inside. So I stuck their bin outside once it was cleaned and freshened up and let them enjoy some sunlight and experience the breeze for 30 min ish. Can anyone sex them yet? I think one brahma is a roo, he has a darker pattern on his back and the comb and waddle is growing faster than the brahma sibling. I also think the all black with yellow beak "silkie" might not be a true silkie? He (I think) has smoother flat laying feathers instead of fluff, but he has the head poof so idk.

The all black and silver silkie died last week. Crop issue of some kind. Swelled up for days and I couldn't help her. It was mt daughters chicken, she named her Raven. So we were pretty devastated.

For New years hatch I hatched out 15...12 before midnight, and 3 a couple days later. No NN, but I didn't have any NN eggs in the incubator. Most NN eggs were coming out not naked just black and I didn't want a ton of just regular black chickens.
Here are the NY's chicks (new years eggs were...12/15 the extra 3 were 3/4

For my rooster's last act, these due I am guessing the 12th. (I had all the chicks I wanted from him.) I did slip in on NN egg, I am hoping to get one more NN. The tan one.

I plan on putting my older chicks in coop, sectioned off, and combining my 7chicks from the 9th of Dec, with the chicks hatched on the 21st. But not in the chicken coop yet.
Of the 7 chicks hatched on the 9th I have just 2 roosters. The NN is a girl.

I know this is an old post but I think that a fishing rope you used to help the eggs stay in place and not get knocked around? If so, genius! I’ve never seen that before.
