It happens... If your sure you haven't had any accidental matings... undesirable traits not SEEN in the parent stock do indeed happen unfortunately. 7/9 chicks I hatched were male... 1 of the only 2 females didn't have the feathered Marans legs.

Not even the best selected parents will put off 100% equal quality birds.

I did alot of you tubing light Brahma chicks, we are good!

After going to bed at 1 a m with 1 drying overnight, I had to help 2 out of she'll due to shrink wrapped, crossing fingers, my issue is them not drying due to humidity in incubator, as of now 2 in brooder, 2 drying,9 eggs no movement.stressed out here.

Congratulations on your hatching. I'm researching incubators now, considering having Hubby make me one which I'm researching too. Glad you've joined us.

I would have Hubby build you one they are easy and cheep to make
