@oldhenlikesdogs The fish thread I started, Do you remember when that was ? Thats when I first got the fish I think. And the girl/lady that had red shrimp? I would like to have some but dont know a thing about them.

I have been enjoying this thread but it went quiet ! I lost all my chickens to a predator then the fish bug bit me. One tank, Not hard to take care of and will lower my blood pressure right ? OCD kicks in.... 5 tanks running now.Frustrated because I cant find a 20 tall. I bought mopani wood for it . Everything is ready. The tank I bought "used" has a crack in the bottom. I bought a trio of guppies and 2 mystery snails. My tanks now over flow w/ them. I have angels in one tank. I have a few blue wag platies and a betta mixed w/ one tank of guppies.
I live in the boonies. No pet stores close by. I dont have the heart to crush snails or feed babies to the angels.

Nice guppies! None of my females are that pretty. Your plants also look nice.
Do you know how to tell apart male and female guppies? If so, you could separate them. Though the females will still have babies for a couple months afterward, in the long run it works out well.

I can tell them apart but they are normally pregnant before they are big enough to see the dangly bits.
Thanks. I picked mama for her color. She is huge now ! Ive never seen a guppy so large and her daughters are just like her.

6 months ! Yes, thank you. I do enjoy them a lot. Setting the tanks up is the best and worst because now I have another. Wish I could learn more and decorate others tanks.

I wish you could decorate my tank because I haven’t felt like doing it. Bought all the supplies and everything and was excited but then actually doing it and setting it up is super intimidating and a lot of work.

I am disabled and chronic pain . When I start a tank it helps me forget at least for a little while just how bad it is. Of course I take tons of breaks So dont pay me by the hr. ! bahaha
