I used to have fish. Now I have an empty 55 and an empty 125. I worry I just don't have the time to set up another one but don't want to sell the 124 because I can't afford to replace it. Gah.

Cool I didn’t know there was a fish thread! I’ll be joining this. I have three tanks, one with a betta, a bristlenose plecostomus, and a Molly and another with a whole assortment of catfish and some sunfish/bluegill and two turtles. Then I have a 2.5 gallon with a baby fish in it. I’m just waiting till he gets a bit bigger so I can put him with the Molly and betta. I plan on getting him a friend too. Here’s a pic of my betta, Quinten.

I’ve always been into fish, probably from my dad. When we lived in IN we had a huge fish tank. It was like 400 gallons. He kept all sorts of tropical fish in there and I loved it. We also used to catch fish in our creek when we were little, so that could’ve played into it too.

Battling a second wave algae bloom in my new tank with the snail and clown plecos...think I'm going to have to break down and get a UV sterilizer :/. Need to get it figured out, I want to put more fish in there and I don't think other types of fish would tolerate algae-infested water as well as snails and plecos.

In better news, I think I've gotten the weirdness with my betta spawning tanks under control! Once my pair's conditioned again I'll try spawning them.

Just fed all the fish some frozen brine shrimp and man my tetras and rasbora go absolutely psycho for it! Never see them so active as when I dump a bunch of brine shrimp in there XD.

I have a 10 gal tank with live plants and 4 Neon Tetras, plus one little snail that just appeared in a little 3 gal tank I put tadpoles in, so I put the snail in our 10 gal tank.

We also have a 150 gal tank outside with 5 goldfish in it for aquaponics. We did have 2 shubunkins in it too but they both died and we don't know why. We did have a Betta fish in our 10 gal tank but he got fin rot and a fungal infection and died. One of our Tetras died a week ago too, don't know why.

My little tank with a betta in it got a film on top of the water and algae growing on the side. This all appeared in 2 days. Does anyone know why?
