Morning Krystal Pretty much been a BYC day today. My wonky country internet says I've got between one and two hours before my tax software is downloaded. I guess I could go generate reports and get the spreadsheets pulled together, but I'd rather chat with you folks.

Im at work at the moment but no customers to serve so I have a moment to catch up on my BYC Family

Yes, they are pure Ameraucanas.
EEs are anything really that can possibly be traced back to a blue Egg gene.

I know I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but thought I'd stop in again. And then thought, Oh, why not share pictures of my new chicks?
On Tuesday I picked up two from Orscheln's, a so-called Ameraucana (they spelled it right, too, but I know she's most likely an Easter Egger), and a California White (though I think she's mislabeled, too, as none of the chicks had even one grey spot on them). And then yesterday morning I got a Silkie bantam, a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, a black Turken, and a blue slate turkey poult, who is extremely loud but very sweet.

I just got four the other day too! This is my EE... your could be pure cuz look at the difference..

Yes, they are pure Ameraucanas.
EEs are anything really that can possibly be traced back to a blue Egg gene.

Araucana and crested cream legbars are blue egg layers and are not EEs.(psst...They have both been breeds longer then ameraucanas have...don't let the Ameraucana zealots know though!)
