Yes, same egg! It looks like it forsure.
It's hard to tell in the picture but the bit of yellowish liquid that contained some veins looks farther down and slightly clearer and thinner as well.
 
I've noticed that! The ones in the wild only seemed to hiss haha

the males usually hiss or huff, the females only hiss if they feel threatened or are protecting young/eggs... usually they just make soft noises or stay quiet...

My fancy and speedy seemed to know to be quiet when I hid them in my room once from the maintenance guy at my old place. They didnt make a peep, not so with Donella and Isabella - they were still scared of me back then and were constantly making loud putt putt noises and scared noises... they the ones that alerted my previous leasing agent to their presence, lol - big mouths.
