Once domestic ducks start laying they will lay just about everyday. They will have times off when they take breaks to restore calcium stores in their body, during molt they won’t lay until the have all their new feathers grown back in. This will go on for at least 2-3 yrs depending on breed, now Mallards are seasonal layers which means they lay in spring not sure if they lay all summer. But how your mix female lays will depend on who she takes after Pekin or Mallard then again because she’s a mix she may lay most of her first year. You’ll just have to wait an see.
