Found Pigeon

I found a pigeon at Briar Chapel Pool Pittsboro NC. It was gray with white wingtips and tail. Green leg band and crest on back of head. A few other white splotches. White toenails. A bit nervous. We tried to catch it to see leg band number. We fed it and as far as we can tell the leg band says either 820 or 208.Not sure. We do not have the pigeon captured. We hope that you find your owner little guy

oh, and he was found there three weeks ago

Sounds like a racing pigeon. Young bird season is here and many young pigeons get lost but usually find their way back to home loft.If by chance you catch him/her post band number and my DH can help!

Can you take a picture of him? I thought homer too, but you said he has a crest on his head?

Someone invited me to the pool, you have to pay for a membership for yourself. I will if I am able to do it.
