Found this lump on my Splash Orpington's beak/nose today. It is dry, no nasal discharge and she's acting and eating fine. Google search and I see things related to fowl pox. Thoughts?
I have not had contact with any other chickens/birds. My flock of 11 has had a few incidents of swollen eyes/ear lobes (only this chick has the bump on beak), which I thought were mosquito bites. Wondering if this is all related. They free range most of day. Their coop is "clean" - I use the deep litter method.
