I just got a PM from a friend that has the calendar!!!!!

Yes there is. Its a advertising campaign. If you did not give them permission to use your picture then you are intitaled to royalty. Does not matter how much they did or did not charged for the calender

I had it wrong, it's Sierra Elliott. Oh, it's a local calendar, it's the Oregon Dept. of Ag that put it out. Thought it was Purina. My bad!!!

What I am wondering is how they snagged a photo with enough pixels and quality to print onto a calendar. If you take a photo from online such as in a forum or an avatar and blow it up, it would look awful, very pixelated. Did you ever submit your photo for any type of contest or anything where they could have gotten a larger size?

its really sad what people do with the internet today. That could have even been a competition where the winners received money etc. (idk about that but i have seen competitions where there were stolen photos)

I even have a website graphic (the header to my website) that someone stole with a watermark on it!

On the front of the calendar it says "Featuring winning photographs from the 2011 ODA Poultry Photo Contest". She had to enter it into that to win a spot in the calendar.
