How many babies does she have?

Originally there were 5 the rain storm destroyed her nest and they got wet and cold and three died

the other two have doubled in size since then though.

This is from the 26th even though my camera dated it the 27th. They have way more fur now

I had 8 eggs go into lockdown (the rest were clear), 4 have hatched, 4 pipped and resting.    for 4 more healthy babies!  So far two feather footed and two clean footed.  One of the clean footed has super muffs and beard, the fuzz is so long there was a full circle cowlick on top of its head.  Once they are all dry and fluffed I'll post pics.

Yeah but I don't dance on a pole......I plank on a pole.....completely different. And usually it's a pole at a kids playground!

All 4 are out, two more with feathered feet, 2 more bare feet. They are not up and around yet, still sleeping it off. I hope to move them into the brooder tonight.

The first four are exploring, food is scary and water is more scary, so they are in a chick pile under the heater. It's so funny how they have little bursts of activity then all catnap at once. I forgot how much fun a few chicks could be compared to a whole brooder full.
