French frogs

The inside is supposed to look like meat and bones. And some fat. Nothing more. Up in the ribcage area are the lungs, you will need to scrape those out. Testes are like white beans by the backbone, clean those out. I remove the adrenal glands along the spine right by the pelvis, they are pebbly looking things that are dark red. Anything that doesn't look striated like muscle comes out. Crop, trachea, esophagus...be careful not to spill the crop contents into the carcass. Rinse well in cold water and drain thoroughly. Are you plucking or did you skin it?

I've only processed twice, and the trachea is my problem area. Is there a trick to getting it out easily?

Yep. slit the skin at the base of the neck on the wishbone side, sever the head, and pull the trachea back to the new slit. Once detached, it will easily come out when you grab the lungs.

Full crops are the worst. They'll spill out the esophagus, so I tie them off with a bit of string and loosen the esophagus the same way as the trachea, then pull from behind.

Ravyn, feller over in the incubating room, hatched out chicks and ducklings in the same hatch.

claims he kept his humidity at 85% then 90% at lockdown?

I hatched chicks and ducklings in my last hatch together

I have a really important question: some of my chicks have been acting funny, when I let them out in the morning, some of them can't stand up. They just lay kind of on there sides with there feet out. I don't think it's Mareks disease cause once I help them up they can walk on their own without much trouble. What could be causing it?

Are you roasting or crock potting him? If roasting, then the meat needs to come out of rigor before cooking or it'll be tough... crock pot, well... just throw him in, lol...

Roasting. So I will wait and let it relax. ;)
