Sounds awesome! (Well besides the ‘illegal’ part) Those breeds seem cool! Also is “Wasabi” the pug the puppy in your profile photo? If so, he is adorable!

Yes he is, thank you. We got two extra because we were worried that some in our flock were roos in hiding but it seems like they are all pullets after all. My sister is getting married soon and, as her fiance lives where there is no restrictions, they will have somewhere to live if we have to downsize our flock. As we can hear that several of our neighbors have some very manly hens (roos are also illegal) we're not that concerned.

Oh okay! Also I think I understand your username- Pug + wasabi= Pugsabi!! Adorable!

More incubator pics! I gotta say, I really like this incubator! It is the MagicFly mini 10 egg incubator (I have 15 in there). Yes, I am aware it says 38 degrees but it doesn’t come from the U.S. it is in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit. If anyone has any suggestions, questions, concerns, etc. I am here!
I am SO excited!! :wee :woot :ya :celebrate

I just candled my silkie eggs at day 3! I could see a heart beat!
So, while we wait a few days until eggs start to develop....
How many chickens do you have?
What breeds?
Are you currently incubating eggs?
Uhh, chicken math, like 5. Haha like 41, cause I just hatched a bunch of babies
Austrolorp, rir, golden comet, barred rock, mixed, black sexlink, and silkies :love
Incubating 5 eggs just to see if they were fertile!

Ooh yay babies coming!!! :celebrate :jumpy

You can candle all you want they are your eggs . Here's the thing .Small incubators recover quicker than large ones . It is safer to candle more often than if your using a 300 egg cabinet which takes a while to recover . I would have checked out and calibrated the on board thermometer and hygrometer .That is all I could add . Good luck with your hatch:fl:fl
