I had a friend who ate the hind quarters and he usually says "yeah its ok" or "Yeah it was good" when I give him chicken meat to sample. He was very enthusiastic after eating this meat. He even said he was not sure if he wanted to try it but he did. He eats a lot wild animal meat because he hunts. I was supposed to eat the breast meat but It took so long to eat the CX meat that I figured the grey meat went bad... to be honest I was afraid to try it and kept putting it off until it was over a week old and tossed it. I need to be in the right mind set to try it.

I can understand. Typically we would look at something that color and think oh, that's not good. Funny how culture impacts our thought processes and preferences.

Shipped hatching egg info:

1. NN roo over NN/Red Ranger (RR)
2. Dorking/RR roo over NN/RR
3. NN/RR roo over Dorking/RR
4. same roo as 3, both parents are Nn with bowties.

I'm going to figure out how to divide the incubator before lockdown to document which chicks come from which eggs. I remember a post where someone used plastic canvas so I'm going to try that.

I made a cage for inside my incubator out of rabbit cage materialI might have to add to it for my next hatch. Then I fixed 1/2 Hardware cloth to that because Batam chicks and Seramas crawled through the Rabbit Cage Materials. It was exclusively made out of left over Hardware Cloth that I save after projects.

I have the materials for this, thank you! You're using a hovabator right?
