Lemon tree and Arabian Lilac

Veg garden. Decided to hold off planting the starts and start over. To do it now would be rushed and and I want to do it right so will work on it next weekend.

These are oyster mushrooms. I really want to try Morels, but the kits are $$$$

Aiden moved the compost pile today

Now it’s here and the ducks are enjoying it

In the space between lattice and wall I’m going to add a dwarf olive and grow as a small tree. The plan is to put the pool between them, add another shrub of some sort, maybe a man made something else for more cover and some xeriscape grass. I’m going to use straw on the ground so it’s soft for the ducks feet, except around the pool. I might put in a few pavers and grow something between them. I have micro clover seed and grass seed but not sure how long it will last. I’ll give it a try anyway. I have to finish cleaning out the area and take down the lattice. I have some recycled block from when a neighbor took down part of the wall around their yard that I can use to mark a path too so might do that. I like some definition of space.
