to whomever first posted this - you are a lifesaver! I love this site! I answered a few simple questions and did what you said about putting "Tip upon delivery" in the comments and got myself a huge deposit of wood chips, steaming and clean (no plastic or strapping like other free drops), they asked me where to drop it, and easily left the dump in my driveway for me and my neighbors to access.

And yeah, I agree with your "steaming" comment. For being so "woody", the stuff does heat up really fast! Then it seems to settle down. Usually there is a fungus/mushroom explosion phase as well.

Hi - yes was surprised to see that it was also in Florida, but it looks nationwide - so enjoy -- i am still trying to find places, after filling my coops, runs and chunnels, for the rest of the mulch!! Decided today will put out a "FREE MULCH" sign and help out my neighbors

Yes, and that can be dangerous, best to let them age before adding to chicken environs.

Have heard good and bad about chip drop...it's a crap shoot, sometimes you never get anything or way too much.

They definitely aren't getting your email address from here. It's possible that you might get an add-on byc if you visit their website, but that's it

I've visited their site before..long, long ago.
Maybe 'data mining' isn't the right term...not fluent in that language.
