Maybe someone will see this who needs to, maybe not. But please be considerate with your words everyone - so many people, especially youngsters who may be coming here wanting to know more about their chicken friends, may be facing enough hardship in their real face-to-face world and interactions. Be welcoming, be helpful, understanding, and try to literally treat others the way you want to be treated. It's so easy to become impatient or blow up. But these are online conversations you take the time to type- consider your words, read them over, and think before you post. You're not blurting out something suddenly - you have the capability to edit your conversation and mull over what you're saying. So many people come to BYC because they genuinely want to learn and grow as a poultry caretaker. Educate in a positive way, help in a genuine way, and be friendly and courteous. If you're having a bad day, take some time off the internet and enjoy the outdoors. Give your flock some extra TLC. Words have more impact than you may realize whether face to face or online.
