Glinda goose can’t stand up suddenlyI found a recipe for probiotics online and I’ve been feeding her

Thanks for asking. She isn’t any better, or worse. I got the Durvet and have been giving her that on her food. She doesn’t seem to want to go in her water, but, last night I put her in the pond and her feet seemed to be paddling! So there is that. She is basking safely in the sun currently but not moving. She also got the chicken Gatorade. I’m hoping for a good outcome, I will give her some time to see what’s happening. She seems to enjoy being babied.

I’ve never splinted any of my birds but her dh said the foot just hung when she was picked up so could very well be an I jury. Do y’all have hoses donkeys etc where she may have gotten stepped on? @casportpony I believe had posted about wrapping injuries once maybe she’ll weigh in.

Thank you everyone who is helping!! I’ve grown quite attached to these geese since they showed up in my backyard last year. Here are pictures of the feet. The left one just flops around.

I see glinda tryi g to struggle getting in and out of her pond a little bit more than she needs to. I also have two dogs that generally leave the geese alone. I think she may have hurt her self getting out of the pond.

Also, I was just reminded by my husband that the ducks were getting into the chicken house and eating their food. I wonder if Glinda got poisoned with the chicken food...

Chicken feed won’t poison geese mine eat it all the time. Unless moldy. Any way you can make steps or ramp to help her get in an out especially while she’s struggling. I’d examine her closely again feet legs and see if anything is out of norm. And post another picture please.
