Got my wheels in!

I got my wheels installed finally. when the 2x4 is down, the wheels float. When it is straight up, it lifts the back side of the coop about 4 inches. i lift the front and move it around. Much easier than rocking it back and forth to move the coop.

I also used a system that was a 2x6 in my case with the wheels attached in the middle slightly longer than the width of the tractor to allow the wheels to turn freely.

Then I merely attached hinges to the board that enable me to flip the wheels under the end of the tractor when it needed to be moved; Then flipped out when the tractor was at rest to caress the earth.

Looks like your system is more than adequate I would say.

The wheels are rated for 300 pounds. They did great with the weight of the coop. I will only be moving the coop every week or so, so it won't be sitting on the wheels during that time.
