I can't keep up with you guys either and it's the time of year when I'm a stay at home mom!![]()
I've got six pullets circling the nest everyday. No squatting yet, but combs and wattles are getting red.
I went back to bed after I dropped the kid off at school this morning. Somehow I'm just way more exhausted with DH home than I was without him, I guess because we're staying up late catching up on shows.
HaHa.... Enola, we all religously read everyone post![]()
Most costly blunder in the torture chamber, love veggie soup, DH loves stew. I spent untolds amount of money on meat for stew and soup. All fresh veggies from the stands and countless hrs. pealing potatoes and onions, tomatoes, corn, carrots, everything was from a garden local. The soup was soo good and the stew turned out good too. 24 quarts of each ! I processed them for a couple hrs. each batch . about 6 at a time I think. took a few days. Every single one of them spoiled. I didnt use a pressure cooker I boiled them in a regular pot. I only got a taste..![]()
Thank you hun.![]()
A cougar ! WOW !!! that can carry kids off never mind the chickens. scary stuff there. seen one here once but they shot it. I am glad you are caught up. I must have the most unused life. all I do is sit and talk/write.
I can imagine a coon in the pot ! LOL just the picture in my head . cook it like a lobster.they throw them things in while they are still alive. They scream too.
