Hi all, just got off work and need to catch up, Roost, "Warm fuzzies" started last winter when I posted this:

Hello! I just wanted to say good night to everyone on this freezing night here in Ohio. Hope everyone had a wonderful day and kept warm. I am off to make some hot coco and curl up with one of my fuzzies.....

Twist always sighned off with warm fuzzies from that point on.

 

[Granny Hatchet]

You missed what happened with Lily. Granny always wanted a hound and a man was looking for a home for this dog. He made the dog sound wonderful, so granny took her on trial, the man saying he would take her back if it didn't work. When granny tried to return the dog (about a week later, I think), the man wouldn't take her back. So granny is stuck. Dog isn't a good fit and granny is too kind hearted to take her to the pound. No easy choices here.

and that. LOL I tried to take a stray to the pound when I first moved here and they put me on a waiting list. never did call me back. I dont know if it is the same now or not.

Red, not the best day, I'm sure, but hope it went well for what had to happen.

Not to butt in or anything. LOL...But does anyone else here hate to go grocery shopping? I just got back from town. Town seems like a million miles away anymore. I had to pick up some chicken feed too. But geez....if I could afford to pay someone to shop for me, I would do it in a flash!! Shopping is the most annoying thing I can think of doing. Oddly enough I love to EAT this food, but I sure don't like going to get it!!

Well layed my last grandparent to rest today. It was hard on us all but we all know she's in a better place with no pain. She had the same back surgery that I had. Didn't help her neither. I know she's glad to be pain free now. Really going to miss her.

I am so sorry my dear.

It is never easy to lose family.

Thanks so much two crows. And yes I'd rather work in sewers then go grocery shopping. So glad you stopped in to say hi. I found me a thread with all the crazies like me and think I'm going to stick here if twist don't run me off lol. How's your flock?

Not my favorite activity, but I'd rather shop for it than cook it!

I think you found a good home here in this thread. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Granny sure created a nice crazy place to hang out!!

The flock is coming along. Everybody seemed to pull through it ok. Tillie is lagging behind but is slowly coming back around so far. She is nearly 5 years old and could have something else going on inside her body. Time will tell.
