I have a funny story about turkeys. One day, long ago I was wrangling a llama. My two turkys that just "invited" themselves in started following me. After a while of shooing them off, they started to pecking me. I had to call someone to come shoo them away from the pen so I could get the llama. Since then, there have been 3 victims of the turkeys.

I've been thinking alot about what granny said. If something was to happen to any of us it would be terrible to just always wonder about that person. We really do need a way to find out about each other. We all come on here about everyday and chat. Honestly I talk to y'all more than some of my family. Y'all really feel like family to me. Maybe I'm just crazy for thinking that way but I can't help it. If there was a way we could all meet, that would be great. I know that's impossible. But I would like to know if y'all were sick in the hospital or even past on. Either way if one decided just to stop chatting, or past on I feel that we'd all grieve in some way no matter what. Pearl and I could let y'all know if something happened to one of us but what happens if it one of y'all. I'd really hate to be on here day after day wondering if one of my extended family members was going to be on today. What can we do?

Well sort of. I don't have any friends. I only signed up so I could check on poultry swaps. Lol

Had some problems with family arguing on Fbook and told them I don't need to be drug into the middle of their fights.

I hate all the garbage and jokes and porn that shows up on their stuff. ExSIL is always putting crude jokes and comments, half naked pictures. ExDIL had to give a description of every fight. Enough!

I can certainly understand that. I'm rarely on there myself. There is a lot of junk on there.

My cavalier used to do that. I'm leaving Ben out while I do some housework. He's just following me sweetly. I tried to teach him how to pick up toys.

I put trucks in his mouth, led him to a basket, and dropped the truck in. Praise praise praise. I once taught a terrier to fetch that way. He's two weeks and two days in! No marking in several days.

He's been in the crate a lot, but that's still a victory right?

The Asian Lady Beetle Apocalypse of 2015 has arrived - there are no words for just how much I detest these little pests and dread their arrival each fall. The exterior of everything is covered in them, they swarm you when you walk by, you have to pick them out of your hair and off your clothes when you come inside and, worst of all, these aggressive little buggars BITE -- and the stinky, nasty stuff they discharge......

The chickens don't even want anything to do with them, I mean - if a chicken won't eat something you KNOW it's nasty

So, I had been meaning to clean out the horse side of the barn/coop - but kept thinking of all the other things I'd rather do (like, pretty much ANYTHING else, lol). Technically it's a stall, but for the most part we have always just left it open and let it be used as a run-in shelter, so it gets mucked out a couple of times a year and it is time to do it before the winter freeze sets in.

Well, tonight the neighbor came over and asked if I would "let" him clean it out for his garden...........gee, let me think about that a minute........I mean, I was really looking forward to doing it myself........

I was feeling generous so I even offered to send the "spreader crew" (

) over to help him get it spread around the plot once he gets it all hauled over there. Then he tells me that a buddy of his at work was asking where he kept getting all his horse manure and has asked if he thought we might be willing to "let" him have some too. I told Charlie to tell him to bring his pick-up and a shovel - he can go out the back gate and take all of Mt. Volpoopius he wants!
