I would love a horse/dog for outside mostly but it wouldnt work that way. it would be in my lap with these other 2 . I let star to run yesterday and when i called her to come she couldnt hear me. is 8 old for a cocker ? I hope not.

8 isn't really old for them - it tends to be smaller the breed/longer the life expectancy with dogs (the giants like Great Danes, etc are rather short lived, comparatively) - it may have simply been a case of "selective hearing", I know my dogs (and kids, and husband) are struck by it quite often, lol.

LOL, My family has a bad case of that too. thing is, star is the only one that has never disobeyed . she walks off leash downtown and heals perfect with no command . never seen another like her. she does everything you could train a dog to do only with no training. they are prone to ear infections . I will have to check that out.. she needs grooming very badly . my clippers are too dull.

my husband has offered to carry water for me to the seramas if i want to try and keep them. He did today and it went pretty fast. It would be just as hard or harder on him then it is me. I just dont know what to do. Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jill came down with a 5 dollar crown , do you think they went after water ?

well, I still dont know what i could of done differently. had i known she was preggo i am sure a pill wouldnt of crossed her lips. maybe leading to a slower death. if i could of made friends , if , if . If a frog had legs he wouldnt bump his @ss every time he jumped.

You did the right thing granny, you tried to help her and the foot being so infected would have killed her and any puppies she might have had. Its never easy because you have such a soft, kind heart.

Don't exactly know what is going on but here's my zen moment of the day. Hope all is well,

for what is not
I was trying to clean my freinds coop for a little bit of money. As I was cleaning the roosts., I heard peeping. I called her and asked if she had a rooster. She replied "no." I investigated further and noticed it was coming from a broken board. I lifted the board expecting to have to find a rooster but was suprised to find three wild baby birds. They were no more than a couple days, maybe hours old. They all had their mouths open so I thaught they were hungry. Momma woulden't be able to get to them under the board, so I had to move them. I found a place outside hidden from pretetors but close enough for momma to hear them. I also found some caterpillers, mashed them, and gave them some. I will come back tomarrow to see how they are. I hope mommy finds them soon beause I don't have the right licence to care for them. Whitch means I will have to find someone who does or they will die.

cool watermellon ! I dont understand needing a license ? Mama must of laid them there so why couldnt she get to them? I used to look for babies all the time when i was little. just loved them.
