Hi everyone, so far behind on this thread. Congrats to those of you that have had successful hatches, sorry to those of you that have experienced losses and so glad that everyone & everything was OK with the close calls.
Wishing I could share some pictures of momma & babies, but I can't get the uploaded to work on this site anymore ~ very frustrated over it. Its so cute to see the chicks climbing all over momma. She will stand up and a couple of chicks will even stay on her back as she moves around

you dont have to thank us. thats what friends do.   Glad you caught up Lisa !
Hi granny girl, just taking it easy today. After a really long weekend of physical work I'm beat. Tomorrow I start back with the injections in my back. Unfortunately we have new insurance this year so instead of going straight to the Rhizotomy procedure that would cauterize the nerve endings in my back joints I have to do the Cortizone injections first. Then do it all over again to do the Rhizotomy procedure. These procedures are quiet painful, I am not looking forward too them except for some pain relief. Hope you've had a good weekend. So relieved to read that your SIL was able to catch your grand baby before the car came over the hill and hit him. Toddlers are so fast. I was always glad when my kids grew out of that stage.

I have had those shots ! hurts hu? i dont know about burning the nerve. never heard that one. does it effect your movement or any thing else ?

I got rid of 5 seramas today and put a 10$bill in my pocket . LOL so much for making money on seramas. 2 roosters were wry tail, 2 hens one for a trade of a candy corn polish rooster and one i gave to her just because. and a baby rooster about a month or so.

[/qquote] your very sore after it is done, my back felt like somebody had poured molten cement in there. They use a special xray machine called a Florascope to view the joint & nerve endings they are going to cauterize. The technician guides a hollow needed into the joint they are treating and pokes around the nerve to find the most painful area you have. Then they insert a special instrument thru the hollow needle a burn the nerves. If successful it can greatly reduce pain in that area from a couple of months to even a year. You definetly want to trust who's doing the procedure, permanent spinal damage is always a posibilty if done incorrectly.

well, maybe 4th time is the charm. I keep meaning to tell you Lisa, after i got those shots, I ended up with a bubble at the base of my spine that wont go away. its like sitting on a small water balloon. lean forward and back in a hard chair and feel it squish. Drs. think i am nuts but its there anyway.
