Dad would take us shooting when we were kids. Old washing machines and stuff at the "dumps" you find in the woods. I liked it when I was young. After my daughter was born it just didn't seem like a good way to spend time. Those were hours that I could use for cleaning, or napping, you know? But when it comes to a predator in the coop, I'm glad I have that knowledge. And it will be fun to hunt the squirrels for the gumbo.

No I got the stats the wrong way round, I edited to fix. Essentially, for every 100,000 people, in the USA 10.64 were murdered by guns, in the UK the number was 0.25

But like I said, stats on this topic are murky so I'm not sure how accurate these are but they provide a guide at least.

only place i remember my dad taking me was the bar when i was 14 and to the movies once with his gay boyfriend and he made me slip booze in under my coat. I looked like a 12 yr. onl pregnant girl.
