Did you pressure can the meat? Or water bath it?
water . I made the whole stew thing gravy and veggies in it too.

I just feel I need to tell you guys you are my best friends and I love each and every one of you. You light up my day and I miss you when your not here. enough soppy stuff. I did a funny to my DD when she was here. I took the meat chicken out of the cage for her to hold. They are very friendly. She was oohing and awwing and then asked what kind it was.Told her that was her dinner next month . That I had 2 and was going to bake them for the sunday night walking dead show.

It's still alive. I made a hole and candled. Still a few veins, it's probably getting close though. Not sure if it's looking shrink-wrapped or not. It's so hard to tell.
Linda it's not that giving it a hole hurts something, but it's SO EASY to crush the egg or hurt the baby. You have to hurry so it doesn't get cold, but if you go too fast you can make a giant crack or hole that dries them out. It's really stressful for me.
