I have 5 roos in my LF coop and couldnt tell you how many in the bantam 8-10 maybe . they never fight. they sit next to each other on the roost taking turns crowing. I think they are like fish, after 3 they are confused and dont fight.

She has neighbours quite close, so crowing competitions are a no no for her!!
I have certainly found this out since I rehomed one if mine. The other hardly crows at all now. He too should have gone by now but I've not heard from her yet.

Maybe, she has really caught the bug now. She's even talking about a new run when she gets back from her Turkey trip in September. My Dad is 60 but does not want to be at home when it's his birthday he wants to forget he's 60 So she has booked for them to go away for his birthday.

Turkey !!!! wow, never in my dreams. Isnt Malta close to there ? My sons grandparents were Maltese . My son is a malta-billy. LOL bad combo for temper. Would love to go to a couple places before its my time. wont ever happen though. My son will be with me til the end and SS isnt taking us anywhere. LOL
England is #1 I hear member Sumi talk of it and Africa (she has lived in both ) and i yearn to see the flowers. Whe i lived in Mi. and close family would go out of town or my mom would come for a visit they would ask me what i wanted them to bring. It was always the same answer. a rock. LOL I collected quite a few rocks in the 25 yrs I lived there. but i never went . I brought 2 rocks with me here. big boulders almost. they were from Canada. I lived close to th border there but only went across the bridge once and back under the leaky tunnel. But i bought these myself from my nursery. 20 cents a lb. they are pink granite with sparkles all through them. beautiful next to my waterfall pond . SIL fixed my pond this yr. for me then the pump went out. LOL Me vida loco. they cost about $150 and it was the second one so now i have a frog pond. stinks too. oh, another rambling day. geez.

DD just stopped by. I thought to pick the kids up. HA ! She says, Im going to the store you need anything ? that was sweet right? HA! she starts out the door and i hear her telling the kids, Im not taking all you guys !

Before you say anything, yes, I realize I am being taking advantage of. I find it quite funny that she thinks i dont see it. Thing is , I really dont care. I like them here + she now is buying dinner and cooking. They thought they were being slick when they brought me a rolling stool for the torture chamber so i could cook. I have a million more reasons to not cook. No matter how hard they try to outsmart you they are your children and you will always stay one up on them.

I'm the same so many places I would like to see and go to but never get round to it!! Maybe when we have sold the business and retired I may get to some of them. You never know I may do a road trip of America and come and see you all!! My problem is too that who would look after all the animals? It's hard getting someone to look after them all at the same time. Yes sumi is over in Ireland now a ferry trip from England to get there, she has lived so many places, it must be great like that. I've never lived out of Yorkshire. I like what I know, weird like that.

The pink sparkle granite sounds nice, I bet it glistens in the sun. Shame on your pond and pump. I have a broken pump too in the water feature. Starts off ok but it just dies untill there is the most tiniest of trickle. It's like a three bowled thing with a cherub on top? Is that the right spelling? It's nice when it's working good but just left it soon goes green and manky!! Ginny the Amber hen loves frogs she ate a whole one she found in the garden I was ready for throwing up!!

I think you do stay one up on them. It the law!! At least she cooks for you. I too hate cooking, I do it because I have to not because I want too.
