I have had diarrhea since 4:30 pm two days ago. I ate the watermelon at about 2 pm. The dr told me to take Pepto Bismol tonight and if I still have diarrhea in the morning he wants to see me.

I also have NO appetite. Yep, you could say I am sick.

I am so very sorry about the dog camping. I just cant imagine what would of happened. only 5 yrs. is not old. Chance of injury? I think i would fall apart if something happens to mine. Its not hard to gt attached to the little things.

Watermelon is grieving the loss of his rabbit as well. My star is getting up there in age and i notice her slowing down a lot. hearing not as good as it should be but mine aint either. many hugs to you.

Your actually NOT supposed to stop the runs. It is natures way of ridding your body of the poisons. The BRAT diet would probably serve you well right now. and tons of water.

bird flu strikes again, no swaps , 4-H, nada . all is canceled for "probably" the year.

A rooster's job is to keep harmony in the flock. After he breaks up the fight it is perfectly natural for him to dominate the hen that doesn't respect him.

It is too soon to put this hen and her chicks in with the flock.

The problem with this rooster is he wasn't breaking up the fight. Instead of him trying to stop the other hens, he attacked momma hen. So 3 of them had a beak full of feathers & comb of momma hen. I wasn't intending to put momma & babies in with the adults, some of the adults were let into the fenced area that momma & babies are in.I was sitting right in the pen supervising everyone. I started doing this the past 2 days because I have reason to believe that momma is antsy to get back with the adults. I have found her the past 2 mornings roosting on top of the brooder box while the chicks are underneath it. This rooster is not respected by any of the ladies. For some reason this year he can't keep his balance so he ends up driving their faces in the dirt and mating their back instead. On top of that when they are free ranging he usually is lollygagging around in the coop. If a predator fly's over he is the first one to the coop.

Flo is doing ok, all the chickens and rooster is picking on her and i wish i hadnt of got her. I really like her and they havent injured her but she is not happy. I bought her a wading pool and i put food in the water sometimes thinking she will be the only one that can get to it. I was wrong. nothing stops a chicken .

Are you running fever? Could just be a coincidental bug. They teach us in food safety that "food poisoning" incidents take at least 24 hours to incubate, so it's rarely caused by the very last thing you ate. Of course I've had enough close calls driving home from suspicious restaurants to not believe it.
