I'm the kind that carefully puts spiders outside. I think the creeping things should be included, everything has it's place. Except mosquitoes. You think the world would fall apart if they just suddenly disappeared?

I have a question what is it called when your chicken has a nasty leaky butt with a sore looking vent. I know what it is but I can't think of it for the life of me right now.

vent gleet..i have one like that..i soak her sometimes in epson salt..that cleans her vent but it always comes back

The dark side of things really does give me the shivers!! Not my thing pr something I would mess with. I do believe people or spirits or whatever you want to call them come back and visit I've had few odd things happen before. With no explanation I can think of.

There have been several times I thought my Dad was with me when something was just not right in my life.

Sometimes when I am in my chicken coop, I feel like my Grandmother's spirit is there. . .

I had to chuckle over the fact that someone actually reads what I post! My chickens have enjoyed squirrel, raccoon and possum!

Vent gleet is a yeast infection. I have heart people feeding pieces of Monostat suppository to cure it. I fed yogurt, worked fine. I bathed her too, such a mess. Was worried about fly strike.

I thought about that too Lisa but then I wondered if it could make them sick in any way?

My vet says as long as all wildlife is cooked thoroughly any and all germs or diseases are killed. I have been doing it for YEARS.
