I do have some exciting news. I'm getting a silkie Monday! Can't wait. I talked to two crows and she said that she should be ok by herself as long as I get one more asap. Don't want her to be lonely so I'm looking for another right now.

My cousin teaches in SC. One of his students lives on a farm. He's bringing it to me. I gave them one of my rooms to keep at school awhile back and the student brought a few hens for him. I honestly don't know the color lol. I was so excited I forgot to ask. I will keep her away from the others for a month. Then see how they do around one another. Hopefully I'll have one more silkie by then. I may just keep them separate anyway.

I have a friend selling silkie babys for $5. but he wont ship. I have terrible luck recieving shipped birds. they have been lost every time.

No dropped wings, they just plain beat the snot right out of him if he does anything the least bit roosterish. So he just walks around and does his very best to blend in. It is funny as hell.

If you here of anyone in NC or SC selling them please let me know. I know I'm getting her because I'm meeting him at school. If I just introduce another one after her, you think I'll have trouble with just those two.? She's a year and a half so I know I'll have to find another mature one.

I have 3 silkie chicks but they're only a few weeks old. I don't know what sex they are yet but I don't want 2 hens of the same color (I need a nice buff).
