Okay thanks. I think my bantams eggs are small, I bet I'll be surprised when I see a quail egg haha. I really want to hard boil quail eggs, I think that would be a fun snack.

I gotta do something. Might be getting some real baby silkie chicks in the next couple of days. I'm not quite understanding the sq feet per chicken thing. But if I'm right it should hold around 5 chickens. Does that sound right?

i believe that is about right..do you use a light in your coop during winter for warmth..
