Going out foxing this evening so wont be back till later. Have heard them calling morning and night here at the moment so need to keep them away from my birds!!

That storm actually had me stuck in my house for two days. First day it was blowing so bad, no way was I going on the roads. The second day they closed the highways.

Yahoooooo! I am back.......

Only 230 pages to catch up on. A lot has happened here. We have had two frosts! I am on day 11 of shingles........ I have put in a transfer at my job........ My sewer has malfunctioned......... Someone new has moved into the neighborhood, they are letting their dogs run loose...... My granddaughter is in the hospital for the third time........ Mike's feet are much better........

Today's plan is doing laundry, getting some heaters out of storage so I don't freeze to death, trying to catch up on here and make a pot of soup. But, mostly, I will be trying to ignore the pain from the shingles and not bite Mike's head off.

It's good to be back, I really missed you guys!

Does shingles count as an owie??

sweet baby panda bears, that's a whole lot happening. ...sorry about the singles, my mama dealt with them a year or so ago and I know she was miserable. Hope your grandaughter is on the mend soon. Was the sewer issue due to the floods? Good luck on the transfer.

Red, you really should just throw the eggs away. Feeding them back to the chickens extends the time there is residue in the eggs. I flush my eggs down the toilet after cracking them out of te shells. Then I throw the shells in the trash.

Wow just got caught up! Ate roasted asparagus/ranch dressing for lunch. Watered my 2 big dogs. Their buckets were totally dry. Dh told me 6 days ago he would take care of watering since pulling hose around yard was hurting my bac. One chicken bucket empty also. I told him not to bother helping me anymore.
