:smack Why so sensitive? I've never read anything the slightest bit offensive or overbearing from you. I think, I hope, if we say something wrong someone will speak up. PM! Lord knows we get after each other in fun here.  I see some folks on other threads that are :old  and :old  . I'm like geez louise! Shut it already! Then I realize I'm exactly the same! I regurgitate at the slightest prompt hoping for acceptance. I need to just shut up and read. you however are charming and funny!
I feel the same about you mutt. Maybe we're just both screwed up :lau

I can't stop laughing long enough to type! :lau  Nope, not serious. I'd do it though. Bet you could find small dog costumes! That would be way funny!
Hey I love chocolate and I've got nine chickens now. I'd for real take em trick or treating. Boy oh boy I bet granny could mop up on some chocolate. Sounds like a great idea to me.

Is the insurance for just the ones you have now? Your investment is about to multiply itself. Will it keep going up? Do you have shotgun-happy idiots in your town? Have you talked to other yak people to compare rates? Do they make a habit of geting out and wreaking havoc?

So taking a Poll I honestly want to know what you think....Talked to ins agent today I can insure the yaks for lightening, hail, fire, flood , drowning, accidental shooting by others This ins would cost about $350.00 a year YES or NO ??? Keep in mind I have $20,000.00 invested in the herd.

They now have liability ins for 99.00 a year if they get out and do damage to neighbors, fence, crops, a car hitting them or any other type of damage they might do while NOT on my property. Except for themselves.
Tough call... Will they fork out the real cost to replace one?

Ieee...That's tough. What are the odds of those other catastrophic events? Considering your investment, for an additional $251. per year, would it give you peace of mind? Would medical ins be a better investment in case you get socked with a huge vet bill??

I don't know where you live so I don't know the risk factors of these things happening... Fire, does that include them fleeing from a fire and causing damage to themselves or other property. Are you in a weather torn area??
