Thanks Jane. Honestly, it would be great if I could afford to go out and buy, nice materials to build a super coop. At the same time though with no money and stuff jus laying around, there's no sence in letting stuff lay there and rot. When I do get the money, I'm thinking about building a coop that looks better than the house just to prove a point lol. May even put ****** heating and air in it.

Red, out here and in many places people are VERY aware of the environment and how we will leave this earth for our children. Even the wealthy go out of their way to reuse and repurpose. It's has nothing to do with who can afford what. It's about turning something unuseful into something useful and keeping trash out of the dump. Also about teaching our children to use what they have, not always needing to go buy new, use their imaginations and have pride in a project! You are teaching that boy something very valuable, something no book or school can teach. I admire you.

DH says my ideas are "trashy." That took the wind out of my sails. If he took the kids on vacation for a week, oh the things I could do!

My ideas are on point. It's my follow-through that needs some work...

Pretty good thanks

6pm here for me but had a good afternoon and we have just had dinner. Birds all locked up for the night as its dark now here just 5. Very depressing when it's dark early. Makes me want to drop off!! Been busy with a troublesome bathroom basin and u bend today. Started off as just a leaky pipe but in the end we had to put all new on as it just perished as we moved around!! Always the case, a small job turns into a big job!!

Charlie off school this week for half term and good job too. He had his train track braces fitted on Friday and his mouth is sore. Braces pulling the teeth and the metal rubbing the inside of his mouth. Very red and sore amd he's going through the wax like no ones business.

Eew that doesn't even sound good to me Melon. I like my bacon for breakfast, BLT's & crumbled in a broccoli summer salad. You can keep the choc. covered all for you lol.

Well I was only checking in this am, but got caught up in the stories. Hope Wishing gets some rain, hope Jane doesn't get too much. Mmmm blackberries. Thanks Ol mare, If I have to die, death by bacon doesn't sound too bad... Granny, If I had a chicken that pretty it would live in my house.
