wishing, I wouldnt ask him to change it. It might make it to where he wont want to ask again. I would stay home first. I dont mean to be cold so please forgive me when I say, you cant do anything for them that has passed on but this is a big one for your son. I would give anything to hear words like that. I invited someone over.

Yes, that's my dilemma exactly. I will see what they come up with as an alternative before I decide. Maybe he can go to her place and get inspected by the parents.

Going to the service is more to support the widow. Her husband was diagnosed with a terrible disease (amyloidosis) and died from it all in a few months. They are our backyard neighbor that we share the well with.

I agree with Granny. It would make a big statement to your son if you or your hubby stayed home so he could have his "date".

Granny, he does really well with adults, always has, so not that stressful. Parents always like him a lot. He lives by rules! That's why driving is proving stressful. You can't make a rule for every possible situation. He had thought they would work together in the living room. That's where the evil XBox is, which is like his security blankie!

Still a few days to work out a plan. I will keep you updated. This is a pretty big deal. Oh, he got a yearbook this ear. First time. Growing up I guess!

I got to head out now. Supposed to be over at my sister's to help get some stuff done that requires 4 hands.
