Great Rooster Breeds?

What breed are those?

American Games. They are not particularly pretty as shown, but they are the best based on criteria put forth by the OP.

Hmongs are super laid back, easy to handle, protective of hens and chicks and SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
This is the 3 month old son of my favorite Hmong roo.

I wouldn't really say any one breed is declaratively better than all the others...

Hi, I've had a few roosters, and all of them were pretty good.
The best roosters I ever had were a Welsummer and an Easter Egger, they were both sweet as sugar, although sadly they both passed away about a year or so ago.
Now, mixed breeds are good too, I currently have one in with my hens and he's such a good boy with the hens.
I currently have two boys who are mixed breeds, the one with the hens is part Easter Egger and maybe red sex link while the other is Cuckoo Maran and Easter Egger I think.

I like having a variety. So far without the current extras being counted, I haven't had any duplicate roos in almost 10 years

My pheonix roo is good enough for me. One predator loss in almost 3 years with no locking up at night is in my book great.

From a breeder in North Carolina. Paid a pretty penny for a trio, but boy are they worth it! I have nothing but good things to say about this breed! Just great birds all the way around.

Hmongs have alot of game in them, and I couldn't agree with you more.
