GSD lovers - what's your favorite coat color?

They are all gorgeous! I do have to admit I fell in love with a rich liver male--I know they are not mainstream be but he was sooooo handsome! We had a pretty silver sable female when I was young--"Jaws" (guess the popular movie at the time). We currently have a good sized female Belgian Malinois --they are my favorite now

I've expanded my opinion to all colors. I have Blk/Tan's. But, did have a White, he is awesome too

He is a cutie and looks big at 3 weeks. It will be fun watching him grow and his colors evolve. I'll bet you are anxiously awaiting his homecoming ~ the wait always seems to take forever!

His sire is gorgeous (I guess you can call a male that)! I love the black sables!

Has anyone noticed behavioral/temperment problems with white GSD's?? My sister has a 20 month old white female and she is very unpredictable and skittish. She's friendly one second and aggressive the next. No one can really trust her. She's bitten at least twice already.

A friend who shows dogs in the breed ring said that a white shephard owner attended several obedience classes with her, using a different white shepherd each time, and they were all "strange" and unpredictable.

Does the color have anything to do with the temperment?

Grit your pup looks more like a black and tan than a bicolor to me. Bi-color's I have seen as pups don't have tan on their face until later.

That's what I thought, but the breeder is pretty certain he's going to be a bi-color. His undercoat is black. It doesn't matter to me, since I didn't choose him based on color. It's going to be interesting to see how he turns out.

I think he's going to bi colored like my friends GSD Mac. He looked like that as a young puppy.

That little guy is a lot darker than Sophie was at that age. Sampson too.

He looks like he is gunna be a big boy.
