It's official I have a Hocus & Pocus

I have never named any of my chickens before..I have 1 my daughter named Penelope...She will live with us forever..

whooo hoo we are up to 10 we have 3 black copper marans, 2 blue splash marans, 3 Blue Giant Cochins, and oneeeeeeeeee Blue copper marans and some zipping and a few that are just now pippin....I am still up and on my second set of bats in my flash light

Happy Halloween, all!!

I woke up today to two fluffies running around the 'bator! One hatched last night just as I was going to bed, so the only egg left to go was the one that had pipped 36 hours earlier, but hadn't done anything since. I am so glad I'm didn't butt in and help (thankyou Kathy!!)

I would like to make a huge shout out to everyone who helped and supported me through the Great Kitty Crash of 2009. You've all been so nice, and I've learned so much that will help through all my future hatches. Without your advice, support, hugs, good thoughts and prayers, I would not have what I have now, which is a brooder home to.....
