Hatch date 4/25/16, anyone getting eggs?

The one that laid her first egg today would have likely hatched 4/22 or 4/23, so 5/5 (which I think is what you said your WH hatched) may still be a week or two out. I can't imagine that it was one of my younger gals.

Her sister who I sold to my aunt (who was also hatched 5/5) started laying 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping for some eggs soon.

No I don't use artificial lighting, although I am planning to. Do you, and what bulbs/timer do you use?

My saxonies are getting a little bump under their tails like my kcs(who are laying)have. I don't know if that's an egg sign or if they are eating too many sunflower seeds

I have a group of 6 month old Muscovy ducks who haven't started laying yet, and since it's fall (even though it's 80 degrees here today), I'm prepared for them to not lay until spring. I also have three adult ducks who stopped laying several weeks ago, one of whom has been broody for months and insists on sitting on the chicken eggs in the chicken coop (even though I take them away daily)...sigh. I guess they'll lay when they're good and ready to, and no sooner.

It just figures that the girls stop when my chicken egg customers have started asking for duck eggs, too, after I gave them a couple to try (gratis)..!

LOL yes it has!

STILL NO EGGS. It's getting quite annoying now, it's costing £30+ in feed and I haven't had an egg since July.

My Cayuga hatched April 8 and still haven't laid
