Thank you Caesar! Much appreciated.

I am on day 28, I can't hear any peeping but could hear moving yesterday. Am I ok to open the incubator to put a wet paper towel in or should I just leave it closed?
I haven't read everything, what kind of duck?? Where is the humidity at?

Woke up this morning and we have a little arrival!!! Soooo adorable.
I can't hear any peeping from any of the other eggs though and my candler is broken.
What should I do? Should I move the duckling into the brooder or leave him in there for now?

eeee,so happy!!
WHEW, OK, let me read on

Okay doke. Thank you for all your help! I quickly opened it up to put a wet paper towel in and put him onto a dry one because his legs were slipping on the floor . I really hope one of the others hatch so he's not lonely . Is it normal to not hear any peeping from the others at day 27? There are no pip holes .. Not that I can see anyway.
I've named him Winston if he's a boy and Winnie if she is a girl! :))

What kind of ducks?

I have been putting him near the incubator.. I had to take him out because he kept on lying on top of the eggs and I was scared the others wouldn't be able to hatch out? Do you think I should put him back in???

I personally would have left him in, you see, he's your inspiration, he will get the others going faster. It's kind of like dominos, once one is out, they all have to follow, boom boom, boom. It's almost like they are in that shell saying HAY, THAT's NOT FAIR, I'm out of here. I'll show you guys.. LOL

But since you have him out, I agree I would not put him back in. It's OK for him to move and kick those eggs around, in fact, if you had left him in there, you would know who's next, he would have laid on or by the next one that he hears is going to be next.
