Hatching quail eggs in a cup?

I'm really excited to try it, it might take me a while though because we already have eggs in our incubator, and we want to wait till they hatch and grow up to try hatching anymore egg

How long have the other eggs bene in the incubator? If the other eggs have only been in for a few days, maybe you can make the cup up, and crack on of the eggs you have in there into it. Then try the experiment sooner.....

That is awesome! I had no idea you would need to use distilled water, ventilation, and I love the way you are plantain to add oxygen! This is a great plan, I am really excited to see if it works! So cool!

Ps. Were did you get the info on the distilled water? What is it used for, (just curious, I have never done this before so can't offer much insight.)

they've been in there for 1 week and 2 days. I read somewhere that it's really hard to crack them open without killing them after day 3. But thanks for the idea!
