Can you guys give me some tips on how to spot the difference
Under the age of 12ish weeks, you'll want to look at comb development, and also feather pattern.
Males will have larger and redder wattles and combs than the females.
For the feather patterns, males will have more splotchy uneven patterns, while females have nice even ones. That doesn't work for all breeds though.
Once the males reach 12ish weeks old, soon you'll be seeing males specific feathering, which are the shiny, thin, and pointy feathers.

From 4-12 weeks old you're looking for bigger and redder combs and wattles. At that age, pullets will still have smaller and paler combs and wattles. Once they hit 12 weeks old males will start to get their masculine feathers (see the picture). Males also tend to be the more colorful of the two sexes. If you notice any bright, color patches, uneven patterns, leakage, or very iridescent feathers, chances are it's a boy.
