Help! Air cell’s too small but duckling’s still Alive trying to pip!

The duckling is in a bit of a funny position with its feet over the head - aside from that no visible veins compared to the first two I’d hatched
The duckling is out!

Update! The naval seems to be closing, it’s a lot less swollen compared to before so that’s a good sign! Once the duckling dries up and I put it in the brooder, I should probably keep the humidity down low for the second egg right? Currently getting knocked about by the duckling!

I’m a little worried I haven’t seen any movements inside the egg but I’m hoping as there’s still veins, it’s alive.

Sounds like an improvement. Once you take her out, can you put her on something soft in the brooder? Rather than woodshavings, perhaps puppy training pads or even a towel?
A closer photo of her naval would be good, when you come to take her out...
Don't worry, if there are veins then the second egg is still alive. Yes, I would drop the humidity a bit when you take the first out. I did this with my second hatcher who was 4 days behind tbe first, and running the incubator dry (well, more dry) for a day really helped. After that I could see shadowing and then an internal pip, and I brought the humidity up again. All worked out well.

Does the incubator have vents? They should be open
The incubator doesn’t have vents but there are these white things that I can use to create small gaps - doing this won’t affect the other egg would it?

And this is the duckling now:

Was a bit difficult getting a picture of the naval!
Should I move the duckling into the brooder now?
