Help! assisting a hatching chick! There is blood! *pictures* HELP

Since it's bleeding, that means it's not ready to hatch. In the future, if this happens, you can open the shell over the air cell, just over the air cell, and then put some coconut oil or neosporin on the membrane. If the chick is ready or almost ready, you will see no blood or veins in the membrane. Never pull or rip the membrane until you see there are no more veins.

Most of the time you don't have to touch the membrane at all. If you take the shell over the air cell off and keep the membrane moist, when the chick is ready, it will push itself out of the shell without needing any help.
Good advice, thank you!

I now have the temp at 99f. I still have to get the humidity up. Should I set up the bator or do you think It will be ready to hatch soon. Right now its in a cardbord box with a heat lamp.

I would get the incubator set up. It will be much easier for you to control temperature and humidity in an incubator than in the box with the lamp.

I have the incubator set up. I just turned it on so it will take a minute to get up to temperature and humidity. Can I have the humidity around 70-80% which (imo) is high, because the chicks head is exposed so it wont drown? Or should I keep it lower?

65% to 70% will be high enough, no need to go any higher.

Hello all,
I have an egg that is having trouble hatching. The chick opens and closes their mouth which I heard means they a still absorbing their yolk. I have the egg in a box with a heat lamp and jar of warm water and its about 95f. I know its supposed to be 99-100f, but does it matter with it this close to hatching?
I pealed away some membrane so it can breath and now theres some blood. The chick will also occasionally chirp and try to push against the eggs which I thought means their ready to get out.
What should I do now? I stopped peeling the membrane because there was blood and so now its just sitting there opening and closing it mouth a little. I am concerned about peeling the shell away to see if it has absorbed the yolk because if it hasn't I don't think it should be out of the shell. Am I wrong?
I will post pictures soon and can answer questions. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
