17 week old buff Orphington popped up with an eye infection a few days ago. Any ideas on how to treat it? It keeps on getting worse every day I have tried to rinse it but it doesn’t seem to be helping thanks

It is possible that she has a chronic respiratory disease and sinus infection called mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG. Bubbles or foam in an eye, crusty drainage are common. They may also be lethargic, and have sneezing or nasal drainage. Tylan 50 injectable given orally can be good to treat it, along with applying Terramycin eye ointment to the eye twice a day. But also clean off the crusty drainage with a clean moist cloth or warm wet compress.

Have you added any new birds to the flock recently, or have you had many wild birds using feeders or waterers? Here is some reading on MG:

I have a tractor supply eye drop thing and it worked for multiple types of animals, I will put a picture of it down below. It helps with sinus infection in the eye, swelling in the eye, and a lot of other stuff. You might want to read up on it just incase ?
