On Thursday I ordered 7 rare Ayam Cemani chicken eggs and they JUST arrived and one egg. They are the rarest and most valuable chicken breed in the WORLD. I'm in 4H and the leader is out of town until who knows what time on Monday and she has the incubator. I know you're supposed to let the eggs sit/settle for "at least 24 hours" because they were being shipped. The seller said on Wednesday that the eggs were " week old ", but now the are even older! I'm worried they won't hatch and especially that the incubator isn't ready! That was the only day that I could of ordered them so I had no choice, because the very next day he was raising the price to 455 instead of $160 (the price I bought them). He said that these eggs HAVE to be incubated 24 hours after settling or else they could get damaged/ not hatch!!! WHAT DO I DO?!?! I get the eggs to day and 24 hours after settling would be Sunday, and my leader with the incubator won't be ready until an additional day!!! Do we have to buy an incubator today, run it for 24 hours or until the eggs have settled then put the eggs in??? PLEASE HELP THESE EGGS ARE TOO PRECIOUS TO GET DAMAGED!!! Help would be very much appreciated!
