Help, male duck attacking female

The females seem to have no problems with her, the male will put himself in between them to separate them. I'm going to try an separate the male for a lil bit an see how that goes. I've noticed the other female are starting to distance themselves now too. I don't want to rehome any I've had them sense hatched but want to do what's best. I thank everyone for their help these are my first ducks

He could also be a bit too hormonal for the hens for a bit at this age he's just coming into himself and may need a little time out until he can be a gentleman just so you know duck mating is not exactly pretty lol

Are they all the same breed and the same age?

Yes they are,they have been together sense they were only a couple days old an are now going on 6 months

Yes I would separate and then see how they seem to be doing. Make it where the male can see the girls tho so that he does not get to sad. Looks like such a fun group!

If you have some time... occasionally when a drake (or duck) is being a bully, you can watch them for a day and pull them out each time they misbehave. In one case two or three time-outs within a few hours fixed the issue. If not, side-by-side pens work well.

I feel your pain. I’m working on my drake and 1 of my 3 ladies. I’m giving them date time without the other girls and it’s working. They’re bonding more everyday.
