Help!?! Mallard or Rouen

I picked up what I thought to be 3 Rouen at TSC as well. I ended up with a Male Rouen, a Female Rouen and a Female Mallard. My female Mallard is 1/2 the size of the other 2. Other than size, the easiest way to tell the difference is that the Mallard will have a back toe removed on one of their feet, which is required by law for those that sell Domesticated Mallards. This is what is on most hatcheries websites to denote this:

"Important note: All Mallard Ducklings hatched domestically are required to be identified per US Fish and Wildlife regulations. Our ducklings will have a back toe removed upon hatch to identify them as domestically hatched."

Ok. Is there a picture of what the back toe should look like here? One duck has just pads on the back and another looks like it has a longer toe-like appendage. I’ll try to get my wife to take a picture in a few minutes to post.

Ok. Color me confused. 2 of the three ducks have one intact toe and one toe missing. The third, Dewey, has both toes intact. They are all roughly the same size. Louie, the smallest, was limping at around 3 or 4 weeks, and I thought it might have been a shock from their kennel due to improper grounding of the heat lamp. Now, though, I’m wondering if Louie lost that back toe at that time - there was no blood, though either. This is Louie now:

Dewey has both back toes, even though you can only see one:

And Huey has one and one:

All messed up, right? Let me know what you think. They are all the same size, roughly.

Mallard have 1 stripe(this may be different depending on if it is a wild mallard or domestic and in the breeding color got mixed up....I won't get into this cuz it is true for most mallards):

I just called the store where I bought them and talked with their duck expert. She told me that I either have mallards or mixes, based on the clipped toes from the hatchery. She told me to send her a close up picture and she would give me a definitive answer. I’ll be able to do that in a couple of hours and post her comments here.
